U22U featured
 30 March 010 - Music Rising is a foundation initiated by The Edge (and others) to support musicians around the USA Gulf Coast who lost everything as a result of hurricane Katrina in 2005. U22U's "Edge" has been wearing the black Music Rising t-shirts since they became available. When he sent an enquiry about the new "Music Rising" Epihone Les Paul guitar he submitted a little personal story on his connection to the Music Rising initiative. His story is now featured on www.musicrising.org (news page). We're very honored!
U22U presents....
U22U is a U2 Tribute Band from the Netherlands and renowned for its steaming shows. We'll never say we're the best (because we're probably not), but we get great responses on our venues. We try to approach U2's unique music, sound and energy and there's now way to get even close, but trying is great fun! Over the past couple of years we have expanded our performance into other European countries and played great festival shows in Germany and Belgium. In 2009 we have done a series of summer festivals in the Netherlands (and Belgium) which brought us in front of many thousands of people. Great! On the other hand, we really love smaller venues where we can play for 100 people and give them a great time.
